In which I wander in looking for friends

Hello everyone! I'm new here and am hoping to make some friends. A bit about me.

I am a twenty-seven year old female living in Pennsylvania. For the most part, I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia but my family is in the process of moving to Harrisburg; something that I'm not overly thrilled about at this point; and so I'm between both. I live with my parents (well, two of the four) and my younger brother though I am hoping to move out in the next two or three years. I'm a bit of a mix between an introvert and an extrovert; not very shy about sharing anything about myself - you just have to ask because I tend to keep it inside. Let's see, I tend to have trouble making friends in the real world because well, I'm shy at first.

My interests include (but are not limited too) reading, writing, listening to music, computer games, genealogy, history, knitting, pen pals, watching tv shows/movies on DVD and other random things.

I like books, book stores, computers, the Internet, fanfictin, receiving letters in the mail, small groups of friends, Gossip Girl, Castle, fast cars, intelligent guys, video games, being me, real people, intelligent conversation, close friends, General Hospital, alternative music and about 9 million other things.

I dislike fake people, mean people, and most reality television.

Basically, I'm hoping to meet some new friends here. Over the years, I've found some really good friends online and I'm hoping to continue that trend.

I'll be friends with you! We've got some things in common - I love getting letters in the mail, and knitting and crocheting and most crafts, and I'm a little bit of a history nerd, leaning towards art history myself. Do you mind if I add you? :)

I'll be friends with you! Living at home way beyond when everyone thinks you should - not that it's any of their beeswax? Been there, done that. Just going off of that and all the problems I know it can create, I think we have a lot in common. Thanks for posting. :)

You sound interesting. :-) We've got some interests in common.

I'm 31 living with my brother and sister-in-law (although moving out soon), so that's another thing we have in common. :-)

adding you, we seem to have a few things in common, like - i'm 24 and still live with my mother. i'm still fairly new, and the first entries are quite dark, because i needed somewhere without any real-life readers to vent, and... well. but i hope you won't mind. in case you want to know anything, just ask.
