Hello everyone (:

I was recently invited to DW (as I grew tired of LJ) and I'm enjoying the idea of blogging again. However, getting to know new people inspires me to blog more and so I'm looking for some possible friends!

I'm an incredibly old soul despite only being 22 and history and classic literature (18th c.-19th c. especially) are my passions. I'm currently a super senior at a university majoring in both history and english and planning to go to grad school for Interdisciplinary Victorian Studies. However, my interests are not limited to academia as I enjoy video games, tea parties, classic film (zombiiies!) and writing fiction. Disney (the classic animation and Walt Disney World park) is a huge part of my life as well.

Besides these things (as I am trying to keep this short and sweet), I don't particularly have fandoms but I am an open-minded and friendly person and enjoy all types of things. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and I'm hoping that I don't sound like I spend all my time studying, lol.

Wow. I plan to study classic lit in uni for the coming September, so maybe you can guide my way! Though I may not be as knowledgeable in the area of classic films, I still (also) plan on being a screenwriter/playwright on the side.

Hey there, I'm just new to DW and was flicking through to find some interesting reads. It sounds like we've got a lot in common.

I graduated last year with an MA in philosophy and English literature, and I am a HUGE fan of the Victorian era! I'm currently doing a postgraduate in creative writing, but I'd like to get into more Victorian studies after that.
