Chill and mostly fandom

Hey all, I'm looking for more people to follow and chat with. Here's a bit about me.

NAME: I got by Lea or GQ
AGE: 30s
INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Mostly video games and cartoons. I write about visual novels and interactive fiction on a separate community account, and like pick up jrpgs, action adventure stuff, and usually older games cause I'm cheap. The last games I played were Suikoden II, Hades, and Yakuza 0.

I also am on the outskirts of DC fandom and like watching shonen anime and action cartoons like the Blood of Zeus show that came out recently. The last show I watched and am still super into is Haikyu!!

The game I spent the most time in recently is Overwatch by a large margin. I'd say that's my main fandom and I watch almost every game of OWL so I'd love to have someone to chat with about that!

I also read the occasional book, often nonfiction but also fantasy/sci-fi.

I like Gen and worldbuilding but when it comes to shipping my interests are exclusively M/M, and are pretty porny, so be aware that my journal isn't kid friendly.

I don't write much about non-fandom interests but I like Language, Japan (history/culture/travel), worldbuilding as a hobby, and history broadly.

LOOKING FOR: Just chill chatting tbh. I listed the general things I post about but I learning new things about real-life subjects and people how have passions in those things are always interesting.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I keep my personal and fandom lives pretty separate. I'm not looking for deep friendships as much as I am just people with common interests who want to talk about them in more depth than a twitter thread.

I still have a Seoul Dynasty badge on my jacket, but, more often than not I'm super frustrated with OW! I just this my just rewards for actually liking Brig. *cries*

I hope the next season of OWL will be a bit more exciting. I once got to see London Spitfire in a really casual sort of event with Houston Outlaws, and the event was a lot of fun, but, gosh, it really could have used some fine tuning!

I got to see one live match at the Burbank arena and it was awesome. The faster they are able to bring back the live events the better. But yeah even without Covid OWL production has been pretty scuffed. I think it's a lot of young adults learning to do things for the first time. Like you'd think there'd be more logistics veterans but I don't know if that's really the case.

I was really rooting for Seoul in S2 but it's hard to stick to one team when all the players I like keep getting shuffled around.

Brig has gotten pretty ground down for us plebs! I guess the pros still find her oppressive but most of us can't get that sort of value out of her. I do miss her armor packs. They felt much more unique to her kit.
