Figuring Dreamwidth Out! :D
NAME: You can call me Darvyn, but I am open to nickname possibilities.
AGE: I am in my mid-twenties.
INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I really admire fanworks, fanfiction and fanart. Though I never really partook in online fandom, I did make a handful of IRL friends because of our mutual geekiness.
I love to read, mostly fiction, though history and nonfiction can be so interesting when told by the right person. Percy Jackson and Harry Potter hold special places in my heart. I've wanted to read LOTR for a while now, but as of right now I've only read "The Hobbit". If you know the "All for The Game" trilogy, please let me know, I enjoyed it so much. I am also interested in Greek and Celtic Mythology, as well as cryptids.
I really like manga and anime. My favorites include "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "Hunter x Hunter", "Battle Angel Alita", and "Ranma 1/2". As for other comics/graphic novels, I adore "Bone", "Homestuck", and "Space Boy". There are plenty more webtoons and webcomics that I love but don't remember the name of right now.
My interests in shows come and go, but I try to keep it updated in my Sticky post. I just started watching "The Queen's Gambit", recently rewatched "Anne with an E", "Hannibal", and "The Untamed". I am now realizing that my interests when it comes to shows are all over the place lol. As long as a show has good writing, or a good plot, and looks somewhat nice, I'll most likely enjoy it. I'm a fan of procedural crime shows, historical dramas, paranormal/supernatural shows, horror, and cartoons.
I really like video games, and am currently playing "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" and "Hades".
As for other things, I love to draw and write. I love crafting things too. Some of my favorite hands-on crafts include working with clay, needle-felting, and multi-media pieces. I also like to cook, and hope to try baking during this holiday season!
LOOKING FOR: People with mutual interests! From what I can tell, the more folks I follow, the more enjoyable my reading page will become. I love reading about people's endeavors in life (fandom related and not), so please let me know if my interests interest you, you want to talk my ears off, or if you want to be silent mutuals.
ANYTHING ELSE?: I'm still trying to figure out how Dreamwidth works, so please bear with me.
You can use any pronouns with me (they, she, he). I am asexual and questioning nonbinary.
I hope you have a lovely day! :D

Oh my goodness YES. I'm super excited to see how they're gonna wrap up the story, but also nervous at the same time because I'd hate for it to be a weirdly anticlimactic thing like in the og anime (I have feelings about that ending).
I've been trying my best (and succeeding) in avoiding spoilers in the various internet circles I frequent, but just knowing that it's finally out and that it's been well received, I cannot freaking WAIT to see it when it eventually comes to the US.

Now it's my turn to apologise for a belated comment! So far I too have been successful in avoiding spoilers - and long may it stay that way - but my level of excitement is absurd. I was really hoping to see it in the cinema in February, but ah, that fell sharply through. I don't care at this point, I just want to see it - the same with the new Made in Abyss movie.
Full on excitement mode here basically! I feel that whatever it is, it can be its own thing - nothing will take away my feelings about the original TV series, all of this is just icing on the cake for me.
After that, for me at least, it's all aboard for Anno's Shin Kamen Rider, which is an entirely different cake.
