Hi there :)
NAME: Heather
AGE: 36
INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Reading, sewing, podcasts, going on long hikes, and watching movies sometimes. I have been working toward a minimalist mindset in my own life and gradually reducing what I own and what I take on. I love interior decorating but suck at it, either because of funds or something looking "perfect" just isn't that important to me. I want to make my next home much more of a nest than my current one, so I'm also reading and exploring a lot on that front. I have also been working on learning spanish for a long time and don't consider myself fluent, but it is still a goal of mine.
LOOKING FOR: Anyone here who journals about their day to day life. I'm not anti-fandom but just don't write about my fandoms much. If you are interested in the adventures of single mother who works in tech feel free to add me. :)
ANYTHING ELSE?: Feminist, liberal, LGTBQ+ ally

I’m a married mum of a 2.5 year old, American living in the UK, knitter, fiction writer, gamer, reader, hiker. I like media but I’m not involved in fandom.
My recent posts are behind an access lock because they talk about problems on our home sale and a job I applied for but my public posts are probably more indicative of my normal sort of blather when I’m not on a moan about #middleclassproblems XD I readily give access behind the lock, it’s just there to avoid awkward “stumble upon.”
My family is trying to move from inner London to a house in the forest. I’m definitely looking forward to the decorating and gardening and once we actually move I imagine there’ll be a lot of that ^_^ I like to be minimalist, but I (and my husband) have space-hogging hobbies (fiber arts, books, board games), so it doesn’t tend to look like what most people think of as minimalism XD
Anyway, adding you!

Adding you back! :)
