Good Morning!
NAME: Karenjanee, or Karen
AGE: 41
INTERESTS & HOBBIES: sims 3, art, music, running, working out
LOOKING FOR: People who want to interact with me. I am looking for open minded people, people who are real, people who are willing to share their daily life and interests.
ANYTHING ELSE?: I was born in Canada, live in the US for 15 years, then moved back to Canada in 2006. I've come back to blogging to help me cope with the loss of my husband, who passed away suddenly last week. Right now my entries are more or less bullet points of my day as I am working through some details. I want to add some people from the add me community, but I am worried about doing so, because I am worried about being too depressing.
I have had a journal in some way shape or form since 2003, starting with livejournal (same name), then moving over to Dreamwidth in 2017 because I was tired of all of the bots on livejournal. I haven't been posting much up until now, mainly because I procrastinate and wait for something worth talking about, then worry if it is interesting enough, and so on an so forth. I've decided to move forward and post whatever, and worry less about what everyone else thinks. I almost never remove people, and wont remove you if you don't post frequently or interact, we are all busy and have our struggles.

First, I am sorry for your loss - my dog of 17 years just passed last week, and while I know they are very different kinds of grief, I just wanted to acknowledge the pain we're both enduring.
I'm Cameron, 42, live in Michigan. As nuts as things are here, I often think of how to move north to Canada, heh.

I came from LJ as well several years ago (I think many if not most of us here on DW did!) I'm a Sims player too although I haven't been on in a while since getting sucked into Elder Scrolls... again. I seem to flip between the two. I mostly write about daily randomness, living on an old farm, and running a farm-based business. If you're interested, I'm game to be friends :)

I'm 26 years old and I'm into The Sims 4, although I only create sims and do almost no actual gameplay. I usually post about my daily life (mental health struggles, creative writing and stuff like that) and sometimes I translate lyrics from Brazilian Portuguese.

Please don't worry about people finding your journal depressing. Your journal, your rules, and you post what you want. Losing someone is overwhelming, and writing is therapeutic.
I live in Canada, haven't posted much lately but I am trying to kick myself into doing it more often (it's tough to come up with something exciting during Covid-19). I was also on LJ but moved everything over about three years ago. Other than that, I love to read, play Scrabble, Doctor Who, listening to podcasts and other stuff. Feel free to add me if that sounds even remotely interesting.
