d&d: i don't have much experience as a player (i have the attention span of a goldfish in person, and gameplay just doesn't compute well in my brain for some reason), but i love to hear people talk about their games, their character builds, their crazy stories. same for other ttrpgs. i love listening to people talk about stuff they love in general, honestly.
tarot: i'm getting back into reading it. i also use tarot as a source of inspiration for writing, and i collect some decks just for the art.
video games: animal crossing: new horizons. sometimes halo, titanfall and dauntless on xbox. most recently, star wars podracing for the switch lite.
writing, even though i procrastinate more than i actually do it most of the time. scifi and fantasy mostly. i dabble in both fanfic and original writing, but i don't post them directly to this journal, i'll just link to it. i will be posting about fandom interests sometimes, though. i have varied tastes, so i recommend taking a peek at my profile.
small fandoms: my current favorite is netflix's space force. my forever favorite small fandom is w.i.t.ch.
currently watching: the expanse, warehouse 13, gilmore girls. (gilmore girls and the good witch are always my fluffy fallbacks when i don't want something new.)
other: i've just started looking into warhammer (books only, i don't have minis money XD), i play a small amount of board games but have an appreciation for them as a hobby, i've kept rats, dogs and cats as pets (i currently only have a sweetheart of a blue nose pibble)

LOOKING FOR: i use my journal as a diary. i post fairly sporadically, but i'm online more often than not. i don't mind if you don't post regularly or don't comment on every post of mine. i just want friends. i miss the old days of livejournal, and i want to feel more like i'm actually interacting with people, and less like i'm yelling into the internet void.

ANYTHING ELSE?: please know, i'm pagan, polyamorous and bisexual. this isn't usually the primary subject matter of my journal, but again, i use dw like a diary, so it will probably come up at some point.

Hello, I’m also into gaming (current RPG of choice is Savage Worlds; partner is very into Warhammer), tarot and other witchy things, and have similarities for TV shows (although admittedly don’t post about them really).

My posts are generally about life. I have an About Me pinned and my posts are public—at the moment they mostly revolved around house-hunting as we attempt to leave the Big City for the Enchanted Forest.

W.i.t.c.h. is totally cool, never let anyone tell you otherwise. :D I semi-recently watched both The Expanse and Warehouse 13 and liked them a fair bit, seems like we have a similar taste in that regard. Not to mention all the witchy shows in your interests list, heh.
I don't often post about my fannish interests anymore aside from the occasional Final Fantasy bit, it's mostly about daily life and pagan topics and astrology and such (with more than half of my posts behind lock). I think we could get along. Would you be interested?

if there's a witch in the book/movie/show, it gets my attention. appreciating the various depictions of witches in media is a favorite interest of mine.

I play Animal Crossing. <3 Have you watched the Stargate Series? Hubbs and I just finished Atlantis a while back. Oh... and if you haven't watched The Witcher, that's pretty rad. i've seen bits and pieces of some of the series, when they were first airing i think? i tried to start atlantis a while back but i got distracted rewatching the expanse with a friend because i recommend it to everyone XD

i have seen the witcher. it was good, it just didn't really stick as a go-to favorite. that being said i would totally watch another season. i'd love to read the books at some point. and i'm really sad we didn't get more renfri.

Hubby and I just started watching it. I actually think that The Witcher is based on a game(according to Hubby and his fellow geek-oids). I've been watching "The Last Kingdom" and THAT'S based on a book series.

the witcher started as a book series. and then those books were the basis of the games, which were waaaay more popular than the books. i haven’t played but as far as i can tell the games deviated somewhat story-wise and were generally better? the show takes cues from both, but i thiiink is more heavily influenced by the books, even though i think the popularity of the games is what made it viable for adaptation. some fans didn’t receive it well because they didn’t realise the books existed XD

I didn't know it was based on a book series, though I always thought that it should've been. At least of what I've seen!
