Hi!

NAME: Call me [personal profile] atwill! As a hint to my real name, it does fit in the meter of "Call me Ishmael"...
AGE: Late thirties.
PRONOUNS: She/her.
ABOUT MY JOURNAL: I just started posting in late March. My current project is studying for a master's exam (English literature) so that's the current focus of my journal. If and when I pass this ordeal I will really start blogging at will!
LOOKING FOR: New friends and acquaintances. Do let's connect! <3

OK, I'll say hi. I'm a 58 year old librarian in New York City, currently working from home where I live with two cats and a turtle. I'm divorced, with an adult daughter. I mostly wrote about my daily life, and I post every day so you'll always have something to read. I'm going to friend you, hope you friend me back.

Hello! Sounds like you're writing about some pretty cool things; I will add you. As for me, I write mostly about fandom related stuff (manga, video games, etc.). In real life I work at a library, so reading and writing are understandable hobbies of mine. :D

I think we'd get along! I'm a grad student in my early thirties. I added you, feel free to reciprocate.

No, I think I understand that feeling (I was a terminal master's student before I started doctoral work in another program, in another state). P.S. so excited to be journal friends!

Hello, I've just returned from a hiatus. I graduated college with a major in English, but I study CS in graduate school. I'm however working full-time and have taken time away from school. Regardless, I hope we could mutually follow and share our journals?

Hi! I think we're made for each other: I'm working a phd in a literature - which is not English, which is why i never actually studied literature (but regional studies and a philology), and which is why I'll thoroughly enjoy your posts about it! (I've checked, I already do)

Hi! I'm going to add you; I checked out your interests on your profile page and a lot of them resonated with me!

I double-majored in math and computer science (hence loving your e^(i*pi)+1=0 interest!) but when I was deciding on majors, I seriously considered English as well. I love that you have both "avoiding cliche" and "embracing cliche" as interests. And I also have a problem with caring too much, and try to check my privilege when I can.

About me & my journal: I post a few times a week, and read my reading page several times a day. I'm mentally ill so a lot of my posts are reflections on my therapy sessions, or other introspective posts as needed. There's a fair amount of squeeing about video games in my journal as well, and I also write about my crafts (I knit and crochet).

If that all sounds good, feel free to add me back, but you're in no obligation to do so.

I have a passion for English literature. Friends?
