Good evening, my dears.

I've recently got back into blogging on here, after three years of silence, and I'm having fun.

I'm older than most of the bloggers here, and have retired early. I make my own music and post it on Soundcloud. I draw (and paint if I can get around to it) and I like guitars, films, reading and model railways. I just wrote that and had to chuckle because it makes me look like a daft old nerd! I was writing fiction, a few years ago, and still regard myself as a writer (they call it "self-identifying" now, don't they) despite my terrible writer's block.

I'm a Christian, a friendly reader and commenter on my associates' entries, am completely apolitical, and I write about my life rather than current events.

So, jump up and down a bit and wave at me, tell me a bit about yourself and I may add you.

So I'm not like a total guitar nerd or anything, but I do love guitars (I used to play a bit), and I love rock music!

Hello, Weedpizza. Welcome to my tiny corner of Dreamwidth. I'm here to tell you that I am a complete and utter guitar nerd. I see that you are into toys, and I find this interesting. Of course, many adults have their toys, like the car, the golf clubs, the home technology, the general accessories with which some like to show off their wealth, erudition, prowess, lifestyle, etc. And there's the joke about how he who dies with the most toys wins. But yes, honest-to-goodness toys are fun. A friend of mine collects figures. He started with Star Wars figures as a boy, and now he has some very valuable ones. You could certainly say that my music gear is my toy collection.

Maybe if I was wealthier I'd collect something other than toys? I'm not so sure though! They bring me an awful lot of joy!! It's sort of like an added bonus, how inexpensive they tend to be! I just love being able to go to the thrift store and get a bag of trolls for like three bucks! :o)
