daniela, mid-20s, queer woman, living in south america.

my interests lie on art and humanities in general. i have a degree in literature and i'm very afraid to use it, and i'm a former and maybe future academic. i'm passionate about front end web dev as well, even though my skills are stuck in the mid 2000s. sometimes i write poetry and prose. i also live with about four different mental illnesses, and that might come up a lot.

i'm here to write about my life and feelings and thoughts, and i'm interested in similar journals. i'm not really interested in fannish stuff, i'm sorry.

hi! elana and/or lev (they/them), 31, recovering grad student (MFA creative writing), also possess about four different mental illnesses. i pretty much do use the space of my journal as i would a diary, so there's a lot of rambling about my personal life and interpersonal interactions in addition to occasional thoughts on the literary landscape. i try to put things under cuts with little tldr blurbs on top.

Your "front end web dev stuck in mid 2000s" made me laugh; my skillset is similar.

I'm 33 and have an English literature degree myself; I'm a librarian who writes fiction. I moved to a new city last year and have been writing about daily life, navigating life transitions, and creative pursuits.

I jumped over to your page and enjoyed your poetry - I read a lot of H.D. in college and love poetry with mythological themes.

Hello! I'm glad you enjoyed my poetry.

I've been meaning to read H.D. for years now. The only work of hers that is translated to my language is her memoir about Freud. I can read the entirety of Ezra Pound in my language, on another hand... sigh.

I'm... somehow not surprised that Pound's been translated and she hasn't. I hope you get to read her at some point! My favorite of hers is Trilogy, but it's all great.
