New Year, New Friends?

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I'm an oldbie from LJ (circa 2002) and have been on DW since 2011, been kicking around all this time. I like cooking, gardening, writing, roleplaying, photography, cats, travel, video games, tea and coffee, history and mythology. Most of my fandom interests are listed on my friends only post.

LOOKING FOR: Anyone who's looking to meet new online people. I like reading about other people's lives, hobbies, and really enjoy reading people's thoughts about their various fandoms, meta, recs, that sort of thing. I'm not interested in politics but I can just skim over the occasional post about them (unless that's all you post about, in which case, we might not be a good fit).

Most of my entries are a mix of real life things (pretty mundane, I'm not that interesting offline) and fandom interests. I'm trying to focus more heavily on my writing this year (mostly fanfic) so I will likely talk about various writing communities and exchanges that I'm joining.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I do try to comment on most entries, though I could always be better at it. I'm trying to make it a habit to update my journal around 1-2 times a week.

My journal is friends only, but I'll add pretty much anyone so long as we share some kind of interests.

Hi! I'm a huge Breaking Bad fan, love Game Of Thrones (the first several seasons, anyway — I have zero love for the last two seasons lol), love music, love history, astronomy and astrophysics, and I roleplay on DW occasionally! I'm not involved in any fandoms these days, although I do love geeking out about my favourite shows and films. I have a bit more about me on my friends only post if you want to check it out!

Would also like to add you - started my LJ in fall 2003 (whaaaat not possible) and feel like I've had to rebuild my online friend community several times over that period. Also into cooking, history, gardening (badly), and kitties. I'm not a big commenter on other people's posts but also don't mind if no one comments on mine!
