INTERESTS & HOBBIES: reading, writing, cute animals, video games, dnd, podcasts, and politics (though i don't discuss that very often). right now i'm big into critical role, the adventure zone and undertale, and i used to be very into pacific rim and still am fond of it.
LOOKING FOR: people around my age or at least over 18 who want to have more people to chat with on here, especially about new things we watched or read recently. a lot of my posts are public, so you can kind of see what i talk about.
ANYTHING ELSE?: i occasionally talk about my anxiety disorder. also, this blog is also my attempt to have a more stable host for my fanfic on tumblr, so i do periodically post (under a cut) things from over there.

Generally I write G to T rated fic. I tend to get a silly joke line or concept in my head and realize I need to somehow fit that into a story. I also went through a phase a couple years ago where I wrote a bunch of fics about depression and anxiety.

Gosh, I can never figure out a story around a joke or line, but that sounds like really good practice for dabbles and whatnot! And hey, dark or light fics, it's still always cool to see people write about whatever's on their mind. <3

What's funny is that maybe a few months before I got into Undertale I saw someone had over a hundred works on their Ao3 page and I was like "how do you even DO that?" and then somehow I managed to do that myself, lol.

What kind of stuff do you write?

Sometimes you find that one thing that really inspires you to write-- I guess it was Undertale for you? x)

Mostly stuff for Resident Evil right now, though I've been meaning to work on something for The Matrix or The Wolf Among Us ;u; A lot of it is dark, so I've been meaning to write a more chill Pokemon adventure or something, too.

I just watched a playthrough of the new resident evil - that's a really good series for writing darker stuff, it seems like. and from the little i saw, there seemed to be a lot of background lore to get into?

Oh yeah, REmake2 was awesome! It really is good for the dark stuff, and yeah, there's a ton of background stuff, spinoff games, characters, and evil corporations to write a couple fic-novels about. Makes exploring those bg components really fun!

Even if you're good, btw, did you check out the livestream of Game Grumps doing Undertale? They just finished part 4 and are prepping to do the pacifist ending (they just hit the neutral ending).

I don't know that much about game grumps, but it's pretty neat people are still doing playthroughs of undertale!

Game Grumps has a bit of a problematic streak since they've included some bad gamers, but overall the main team involved are very entertaining gamers who have standup experience so usually are amusing with their videos as a result.

The Undertale playthrough might be worth watching just for some humor, though I imagine it's all stuff you've seen before, hah.

I didn't know there were vocals in it, but I definitely know one of the people on their team made the game so I wouldn't be surprised! One of them is doing voice work for that show "Mighty Magiswords" too, now that you mention it...

It's been a while, but I think they just grunt emotions or something???? i should play that again sometime.

I like many of those things! I'm a very casual D&D player and listen to FAR too many podcasts.

I wish I had time to listen to more, but I love them!
