A lot! The thing I love most in it is the lore. I like the pacing and the atmosphere as well (although that is what most players hate about the game).

I hear it can be kind of tedious, especially with the crew/rations/fuel setup. Still, that adds a realistic feel to it, yeah? I've hesitated to play it for that reason, though, since I'd rather do my best to research a good way to start than to just fumble around.

Any part of the lore you like the best?

I like the Sigil-Ridden Navigator quest and pretty much anything having to do with the Chapel of Lights. Frostfound is also an amazing experience.

I hacked the game, I have no shaming in saying that. I added infinite money, so I never run out of supplies and fuel. :P I played the first 10 hours without modding, and it wasn't tedious, it was more frustrating because I kept dying in some dumb ways. I once died by hitting rocks too many times because I didn't know how to dock lol.

Whatever Chapel of Lights and Frostfound are, they sound REALLY cool.

I guess if your goal is lore, that's a pretty good way to get it. Personally, I'm gonna look up a few tutorials first-- my aggressive cheating is reserved for Sims and Don't Starve. XD

the only time I played the Sims, my sims peed themselves because I couldn't get them to the bathroom in time ;_; There was a party in their house and the guests kept getting in the way.

I've been meaning to play Don't Starve with a friend, but I never have money to buy it lol which is weird, because the game is fairly cheap.

There are plenty of tutorials for Sunless Sea on Steam, from money-making to quests. If you find yourself liking the game, check Sunless Skies out. It's the same premise, but in Outer Space. It's pretty cool.

Whoops! Yeah, my favorite is when they set a plate down in front of the bathroom door, then can't make it in because they can't get past the plate. Great coding.

It's quite fun, so when you do get the funds, give it a go! The game is pretty tough though, and can be rather unforgiving. But, of course, you can cheat out the arse, so no biggie. x)

Sunless Skies is in my wishlist, I believe-- honestly, with as much as I love space, I aught to have grabbed that one first!
