Who do you like for horror reading? I've read almost all of King, Koontz, and Barker. :)

I've read a lot of King, though my preference really goes toward earlier horror like Poe, Wells, and Lovecraft. I'm also big on short story anthologies (especially when they claim to be influenced by one of the above) or any translations of Asian horror I can find, as they have a fascinating aesthetic to the.

Cool. I always enjoyed Poe... but having him force fed to me in high school (years ago) makes him not a go-to usually. :P

Yessssss, lol. Just before Christmas break, my coworker was asking me what I thought of Wuthering Heights and I could only sigh and roll my eyes because I go right back to high school, in my head, and being forced to read it. I couldn't even appreciate it in college.

Oh definitely. But highschool also opened me to things like Sylvia Plath, and short stories such as the Yellow Wallpaper.

Looks like we share some interests (most especially horror stories + historical dramas and horror films), etc.
