LOOKING FOR: Friends who want to talk about silly romances (movies or books), fans of Magic Knight Rayearth (I know more of us exist out there).

ANYTHING ELSE?: Mostly I ramble about the goings on in my life, fic updates, and trying to rebuild my old fansite into something decent. I also sometimes go on shoujo and josei manga reading binges and may talk about those. I used to write a lot of Doctor Who (specifically Dr/Rose) fic about seven years ago, so some might know my name, but probably not.

MKR is a great series and I've enjoyed both manga and anime-- and hurray for Austenland in constant rewatch-- the book though is definitely great too if you haven't read the book.

I have not read the book. I keep meaning to, then I forget it exists. I really should add it to my to-read list on Goodreads or something... Possibly get it after the holidays.

subscribed! honestly i love the entire clamp...universe- my PARTICULAR favorites are CCS, Clover, and Clamp School Detectives, but MKR has a special place in my heart, no doubt. i'm also a fan of jane austen, so i'm looking forward to seeing what you write about that! :D it's nice to meet you!

Hello! And welcome to Dreamwidth! (I can answer questions if you are not familiar with the bloggign sites like this. I'm fandom old and wandered here from LiveJournal with a detour to Tumblr along the way.)

I'm not terribly active in the CCS fandom, but my wife and I do sometimes binge-watch the series from time to time. (I do also have and reread the manga.) We're a bit behind on Clear Card, but will catch up eventually. I am however a bit more active in the MKR fandom, obviously.

Hi! Yep, I'm a Doctor/Rose fan. I wrote fanfiction about them on various communities on LJ relatively regularly from 2007-2012. (I just stared at that last date wondering if it has really been that long.)

I feel like being a fan of Harry Potter and/or Jane Austen is almost a requirement to be on a blogging site like this. I think everyone else I've talked to on here is a fan of one or the other. :)

I'm definitely more of a manga fan than an anime fan. And I am still mostly attached to Rayearth more than anything else, and that will probably be a constant.
