more to read, more readers

Hey Dreamwidth AddMe community,

I'm looking for more journals to read again, and more eyeballs on my stuff.

I'm in my late 30s and live near Madison, Wisconsin (actually between a corn field and a suburban subdivision with huge houses and weird tiny lots--but who's counting?) I'm a queer ass trans person who recently had a "gender confirmation" type surgery...read my journal to find out which one!!! haha j/k. well, actually you will.

I struggle with depression and anxiety which means I'm 10 tons of fun at all times. :)

While I'm not really into fandoms, I am a hobbyist writer and inveterate reader and I enjoy indie rock, Americana, singer songwriter stuff, and nerd rock.

Professionally I'm kind of a mess right now--but it's all part of my path.

Hi there! I see we have two mutual friends already! I'm working my way through the early 40s, craft, write, hike, collect chihuahuas (3), and my rural/sub-rural (is that a thing?) neighborhood looks like yours as I'm in mid-Michigan, east of Grand Rapids. I'm also bi and bipolar, ha, that looks funny in a sentence but just wanted to throw out that I understand the world of mental health and the fun of LGBTQ+ life in the midwest. Friendsies?

i also live between a large farm and a housing development, kind of (it's not suburban, but it is a long story about the loss of agriculgural land). i'm queer, avid reader, poet, my posts are just about my whole life. you sound interesting. friends?
