NAME: Caitlin.

AGE: 29.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cross-stitch, writing, musical theater, horror movies, advice columns, true crime podcasts, reading. I haven't been active in fandom in a number of years, but I was a frequent participant in LiveJournal's House fandom during its heyday, and I also used to belong to the network of Harry Potter communities over there.

LOOKING FOR: Mainly I'm looking to recreate the sense of community I had back when I was active on LiveJournal, before Six Apart sold it and everyone relocated to Dreamwidth and Tumblr. Blogging was a way for me to connect with people from all over the world and all walks of life, and I miss that, so here I am again. I love meeting people with shared interests, but I welcome most anyone who's respectful and not boring.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I have complex PTSD and will probably post about that and the life experiences that led to it. I don't expect anyone to comment on every post I make, but periodically I'll do flist cuts and remove people I don't interact with at least once in a while. If you add me I'll probably add you back unless you're under the age of eighteen (some of what I post is NSFW), or you're so casual about writing conventions that I can't understand what you're saying.

I love to crochet, and am considering learning how to knit, though not for some months, until my sweetie and I get back from our honeymoon. I used to read a lot of fanfic (only stopped due to time constraints) and have written quite a bit of it. I too have mental health issues and post about them from time to time. Anyway, welcome!

hi! i think we might get along. like you, i used to be very active on lj and migrated over here to try and find the same sense of community.

Adding you! I'm starting an embroidery sampler as we speak. I'm a very chill person under most circumstances. Right now my journal is a lot of "why did the child do this?" psychology, and home remodeling. Oh. And some mild existential angst.
