Hey, I like bread and cooking and fixing stuff. I am into fandom but don't post about it a heap. I also like Babylon 5.

I'm subscribing!

I don't know that we have much in come (aside from the general geekery) but your gif has me captivated and I think it has hypnotised me into subscribing.

My journal is not for everyone. Mostly I write about my life, my geeky pastimes, and some NSFW stuff (which is filtered). Some posts are long and introspective, others are fairly short and just about my day. It's a bit of a mixed bag.

I'm always looking for interesting links, so I have added you. Obviously that means I link to all kinds of stuff, in addition to my original content, so I invite you to check out my blog and see if it appeals.

You can't steal what's freely given. ;) I want people to share the links I post. If they also link to my original posts, that's good too. Linkluv is awesome!

Actually, there are several posts a month where linking to them will reveal verses of poetry -- the Poetry Fishbowl and its unsold poetry list are always set up that way, and occasionally I do it for other stuff.

The Poetry Fishbowl has a landing page that describes the project in detail. The Fishbowl tag has everything relating to the event, while Poem has just the posted poems. For a good introduction to my writing, see the Serial Poetry page, which has the poems organized by series in story-chronological order.

The basic concept of a fishbowl is people watching and commenting as somebody does an activity -- it's used in literature classes. For this version, I make an opening post, people give me ideas, and I write poems based on whatever I get. I post one for free in return for the prompts, and there's an extra freebie if we get a new prompter or donor. The rest get thumbnail descriptions and people can buy what they want me to post. Sometimes the crosstalk among the audience gets lively as people discuss each other's prompts. It's a lot of fun. I hope you'll join in.
