INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I like video games (Nintendo stuff and JRPGs mainly), books, foreign language (fairly competent in Japanese, started studying Spanish recently as well), silly music, nostalgia, anime/manga, FOOD, coffee, beer, wine, various nerdy things. Currently looking into some new, productive-ish hobbies (getting back to web design? doing some writing? photography?), but nothing to show for that quite yet.
LOOKING FOR: I dunno, people to talk to? You don't have to be super active, but I'd like people I can exchange comments with from time to time. Similar interests are a plus, and in particular I'd love more people to chat about games with.
ANYTHING ELSE?: My journal is a mix of hobby-ish rambling and real life stuff. I've lived in Japan since 2009, so naturally life here is a constant theme. Also should probably mention that I am gay and live with my partner. It's not a constant topic, but if that kind of lifestyle bothers you it might be best not to add me.

Mind if I add? My activity waxes and wanes -- at the moment, it's in a waning period; it's that time of the year -- but I'm quite a fan of game blogs. I'm not up-to-date with the latest JRPGs/Nintendo games, but am slowly crawling my way through the timeline up to the present.

Yeah, you can add me. I mention the books I am reading and/or have recently finished, but I don't really go into much detail. I read more non fiction than anything else these days anyway.
