NAME: Karen
AGE: 29 in July
INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I like trying to be as active as possible. I go drinking with friends. BBQs, karaoke, going for walks, sometimes playing basketball. I'm a noob at most everything, but I also like fishing, and basketball, and trying to make stuff. I fail most times but I also like cooking and gardening. On the "fandomish" side? I like (exclusively) JRPGs, horror, pretty much any-supernaturally based TV show, fantasy movies (kids' movies and Pixar/Disney included), and rock/metal/electronic music.
LOOKING FOR: I'm not exactly picky, but I don't like or read fanfiction, if that's all you post. If you don't mind me ignoring that part of your journal we can be friends.
ANYTHING ELSE?: I live in Japan. Pretty much permanently. Since it's my life and I'm used to it, there's not a whole lot of "squee! Japan" but if you're interested in what it's like being a foreigner trying to spend her life here, read on.
