INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I am active in fandom, details of which can be found on my sticky post on my journal. I love to read, and while I have not much time for it during the term, I have every intention of marathoning some over the summer. I have begun to take more care of my body, and am starting a fitness regime to lose weight and become a healthier person overall. I'm also starting to discover how to care for my curly hair, something I never used to do at all. I am an engineering student who is also interested in many different aspects of science and how it progresses, especially science's efforts to improve our environment and become more sustainable.
LOOKING FOR: I am both a fandom and real life type journal. I am looking for either type of journal, if we have things in common I would definitely like to hear them!

Sounds like we might have a few things in common! (reading fantasy and eventually catching up on everything :p and curly hair is fun. As long as the weather cooperates!)

Eventually catching up on things is pretty much all I do sometimes. I am currently 4 episodes behind airing on about 80% of what I watch, the rest I'm at least a season behind. Hmm, I was going to mention what I'm currently reading but unless my facebook newsfeed counts I've not read anything in a while. Are you reading anything lately?

I've been terrible at reading anything of late (my currently reading list at Goodreads is 7 *hangs head*) but!! I did just finish Fairest by Marissa Meyer. Book 3.5 in her Lunar Chronicles. A good series! ^^

I am the same; although I just pick one book, get halfway through then forget to pick it up for months and end up having to start again. Repeat forever.

I shall check the series out this summer though, and hopefully finally finish the Game of Thrones series :D

I am not as heavily involved in fandom as I used to be (but a continuing attachment with traditional RPGs keeps the fire burning) and I write plenty of real life material.

But holy crap, 'Russian History'? Yeah, sign me up for some of that...

Ha, I have only recently picked up reading Russian history in the last few months. Currently I'm reading about the Romanov daughters, and then I have a book on Catherine the Great. I will be posting about it in the next few months.

My main area of interest are the last years of the Soviet Union (which are almost historical now, I suppose) and the years immediately subsequent, and, rather out-of-order, medieval Russia.

Ah, well if it doesn't interest you then that's cool.
