Hi everyone! I've been on livejournal since 2002. I just discovered Dreamwidth and moved all of my LJs over here. I don't have any friends here yet, and I'm hoping to find some!
My name is Nicki. I'm 28, married, no kids. My husband and I have been together for about 100 years (okay, maybe just nine) but only married a year and a half. I'm an administrative assistant at a large university. It's super boring, but I really can't complain! We have three cats, a dog, a rabbit, and two turtles. What can I say, I love animals.
More about me: I like to read, and I will read just about anything if it's good, from Nora Roberts to Jeffrey Deaver to John Green to F. Scott Fitzgerald. I don't read as much as I'd like to because once I get sucked into a book, that's it. I'm not going to put it down until I finish it. In a perfect world, I could just read all day every day, but in this world, I have to go to work, eat, sleep, take care of my animals, etc. I play World of Warcraft on and off. Right now I'm off. I really suck at all other video games which makes it hard for me to get into them. My husband thinks it's super weird that WoW is the only game I play, but whatever! I also enjoy gardening (sometimes), sewing (sometimes), and rearranging the furniture in my house (frequently).
I mostly post about my every day life. And sometimes (a lot of times) I post every single day. Sometimes I only post twice a week. It just depends what's going on. I have to tell you right now, I am terrible about commenting. I will read every single one of your posts - feel free to quiz me on your life any time - but I just have a hard time commenting unless I have something I really feel is worth saying. Or if you specifically ask for input. On the same token, I don't expect my friends to comment on every post I write. Hell, I don't even expect you to read every post I write.
I don't really talk about tv on here, but if you're curious, I keep up with: Once Upon a Time, Bones, Downton Abbey, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Orange is the New Black.
I also love all things Disney and Harry Potter. I currently have two HP tattoos and two Disney tattoos, but the fantasy half-sleeve I had planned is quickly evolving into a Disney half-sleeve. Oops.

I have a similar reading habit as well. I read till my eyes bleed then read some more. ha
Your job actually sounds great. I love boring office jobs. If i could have a job with my own desk, quiet setting with decent co-workers to talk with and no answering back to back calls, i'd be happy.
I currently work in Customer Service for an insurance company. I typically take 100 calls a day. Have my own desk though and great co-workers!
