It occurs to me that I never posted in this community before! Hi! My name's Olivia and I'd like to expand my circle. I really miss the sense of community LJ provided, so I'm trying to get back into journaling, because platforms like Tumblr just don't do it for me (and I tried, I've had one since 2011). A few months ago I promised myself I would try to post at least once a week to keep myself motivated and so far I'm doing ok; it actually helped me get back into the habit of writing. So I'm looking for people who're fairly active, because it would be nice to see more activity on my reading page!

Age: 28.
Interests & hobbies: Drawing, knitting, taking long walks with my music plugged in my ears, exploring the city with the bicycle, videogames, movies (mainly sci-fi and animated films).
Looking for: Personal journals! Some fannish content is fine (especially if we share fandoms) though I'm mostly looking for like-minded people Who Like To Talk About Things. That said, I don't comment all the time and I don't expect people to comment to every entry I make, I know that sometimes there's just nothing to say!
Anything else?: I have clinical depression which, at its worst, tends to give me suicidal thoughts and my relationship with my mother isn't very good, so those are recurring themes in my journal. They are always hidden behind a cut, though.

I'm always happy to meet people who feel similarly, because everybody seems to be really into it and I just..can't. Makes me feel like an old, grumpy contrarian. x)
