*raises hand slightly and waves* Over here! Hi.
Greetings-- I've been lurking around here for a while. It's now time for me to try posting. Here's my profile. Feel free to check out my journal.
What I post-- I tend to organize things into categories. In theory, the journal is my 'Getting things done' blog. Some days it's just commentary about the random. Most of what I post is public, this may change at any time.
Warnings-- If you have triggers about food, diet, exercise, or weight lose -avoid me.
If you're a neat-freak (yup, I'm not PC at times) and can't stand hearing about clutter- also avoid me.
Looking for-- Someone interesting to read about.
Not interested in-- A journal devoted to a fandom (1) I've never heard of, or (2) one I can't stand. (3) Someone who updates 5 or more times a day, every day (It's great that you're active, but I don't want to devote my friends' page to you).

maybesenior oboist-linguist thingum who posts whenever she remembers separately on DW and on LJ (different audiences), then I think we can be friends.I'm Claire!
ETA: Sometimes Socrates helps me coax thoughts out, which might be considered "weird" - for the real slim Socrates died in around the 400's B.C.E.!

So, how are you? I'm slowly preparing for next Monday when I'm going to be very absent from Internet affairs.

Wow, I can't remember the last time I took a day off from the Internet.

I simply don't anticipate having much time next Monday!
I might be able to force it, via perhaps having an in-depth PM conversation with you or otherwise giving myself other fun social obligations on top. I already talked myself into dinner with my friends Katie and Janelle the second Friday of the term.

Ugh, yeah, same here - I like activity as well, but man, it's like, give me a chance to read your last 10 posts before you post 10 more, you know?
Anyway, my journal is pretty sparse at the moment, as I'm just getting back into DW-ing. Here's my FO post, if you'd like to add, feel free - http://novelinprogress.dreamwidth.org/3215.html
