INTERESTS & HOBBIES:: I mostly live on the Internet. I'm autistic, have two autistic kids who I might not talk about much, and have BP2 and PTSD, though I don't write a ton of triggery posts. I'm a musician and it's all about the lyrics, though I suck at writing lyrics. I like to find obscure bands though I'm also a fan of some highly popular bands, so don't hate. I tend to get obsessed with one or two bands, sometimes literally for years. I'm a cis bi poly female who is totally open to orientations other than mine. I'm really into Android OS and playing around with ROMs. I have more to say but this post is getting long.

I'm a rare Dreamwidther who is not really into fanfic, though I have some fandoms. I write obsessively and prolifically , though mostly autobiographical/nonfic. I also suck at art though I will happily look at your art.

LOOKING FOR: Anyone who might fall in love with me. People who pay attention to posts and read them carefully even when they're long. People who post a lot (once a week or more, cross posting okay as long as you pay attention to DW comments, because I don't do LJ at all). People who even vaguely share interests with me, even though I'm still fleshing out my interest list because I just deleted a very anti-social blog with no interests at all.

I lived in America for most of my life and still cannot boast citizenship to any other country, though I left when Bush was running for president and left for the second time very shortly after 9/11, after re-arriving on the first flight out of Ireland after 9/11.

I was in seventh grade when Challenger happened. I totally remember what I was doing then (walking between junior high classes and overhearing people freaking out, then standing in the Band Hall staring at the TV and crying).

I am 100% public though that will change at my discretion. Added you.

Adding, you seem like a cool kind of person. I used to spend millions of hours embroidering until my sister in law traded a project I worked on for more than a year for a couple hits of methamphetamine. Didn't have the heart for it after that.

Well beats my in-laws, who just broke into our house, and stole all of our sentimental stuff while leaving anything that cost big money so it wasn't a felony and the police didn't care. :(

I hope the break-in wasn't about speed, because speed is about 75% of the reason I abandoned the States.

I should have taken photos of that project (it was a very intricate carousel horse on 36 count black linen) so I could claim the time I spent on it. Since that was in the late 90s, all I can do is cry about it.

No, it wasn't about speed. It was about... my hubby's little brother being butt hurt because when their father died the bank took the house and all the assets and he got nothing, while their father had funded us living for 2 years while hubby looked for a job. So he felt that we had gotten stuff unfairly and he should have gotten stuff too. So he just stole ours.

Really? How cool! My Dad's folks are Irish (my last name is Flinn) and I got to spend several summers there (mostly with friends in Naas) but I was too young to pay attention to names, I guess :)

I live pretty far from Naas, nearer to Cork than Dublin. Ryan is so common here that people often add their occupation (or their parents' occupation). Like Ryan Doc, for example - so people will know *which* Ryan.
