Looking for some new friends, since a lot of people on my list have gone inactive.

I write, paint, draw, and sail on a square-rigged wooden tall ship. I am looking to make friends with genuine, interesting, thoughtful, and creative people. I'm pretty chill. If you think we might get along, let's give it a shot :)

TALL SHIPS!

I don't get out on them nearly often enough, probably because I get sick if I have to do any detailed work when at sea, like troubleshooting beer kegs or loading flintlocks.

Alas, I've only been out on the ships, never served as crew... Of course, even a simple 2 hour sail still means manning the lines, and I even got drafted once into helming the 'Pilgrim of Dana Point' . Those trips made it clear that I'd be spending too much of the time feeding the fishes, though!

Don't give up! Plenty of sailors get seasick too ;)

I write speculative poetry, some fiction, post about activism, and various other things. I think your tall ship sounds awesome. I set a story on a sailing ship a while back, "Without Fail."
