Hi there! 
I'm Zombieallomorph and looking for new journals to add to my reading list. I'm German, living in Jordan at the moment. My journal is about ... well, all the things that pop into my head while I'm in a writing mood. So I write a lot about myself, Japan, Jordan, Germany (... I really need to move to a country that starts with a different consonant), issues that are important to me (e.g. linguistics, feminism, GLBT rights), all sorts of trivial things ... and I frequently post pictures of my two cats :)

LANGUAGES
I speak: German, English, Japanese. Also just started learning Arabic, but that really doesn't count yet.
My journal: Mostly German. It's fine if you don't feel comfortable commenting in German, and recently I decided to write some English entries now and then, but I just really like writing in German.

What I'm doing with my life: Graduated from a German university, studied abroad in Japan for one year, moved to Jordan for work.
Hobbys: Writing & daydreaming (original characters: always fantasy, no fan fiction), drawing (digitally), reading, hanging out with friends, occasionally playing video games. I used to do Tae Kwon Do, Kick Thai Boxing and horse riding. Would like to pick up any of these again, but I can't seem to find the time :( I also had a roleplaying group before I moved to Jordan (Vampire: The Masquerade) - might try to continue that via Skype :D

My German speaking and writing abilities are almost nonexistent nowadays, but my comprehension is way better than I thought based on checking out your journal... We also have some interests in common, so I'll add you so long as you don't mind me commenting in English and potentially misunderstanding you (it's been about six years since I last used my Deutsch, and even then a lot of it was Danglish) ;)

Awesome! I don't mind that at all. Just use the language you are comfortable with (some non-native speakers of my DW friends list do that, too, and sometimes I switch to German on their journals as well).
And I'll always be happy to explain, so please never hesitate to ask if you want to know something :)

Hallo :D Hey das hört sich ja echt nach vielen Gemeinsamkeiten an :) Englisch ist meine Muttersprache (Neuseeländerin) aber nach 3 Jahren in der Schweiz spreche ich auch Deutsch. Ich lerne Arabisch im Moment.. habe auch einige Monate in Japan gewohnt, also bin ich daran auch interessiert. Ich adde dich ok? :)
