NAME: Joy
AGE: 25
ABOUT ME My name is Joy and I live in Leicestershire in the UK. I live with my husband Paddy (we've been married since April 2011, together since 2005) and our 5 year old son Rory. We have four cats, Tonks, Oliver, Fred and George (yes, they have Harry Potter names, its awesome). I'm a chef according to my qualifications and CV, but for almost a year I've worked as a cook at my sons local school. I know its not terribly ambitious, but I love it there and intend to stay for many years to come.
My husband has bi polar disorder, and I write about that quite a bit. He's my best friend and the greatest guy I know, so I hate seeing him unwell. He's had to stop working for a while, but we're hoping that he'll be well enough now its turned 2012 :) I will be very proud whatever he decides though, as he has come a long way since I first met him.
LOOKING FOR: Anyone really, if you have some stuff in common with me then just add me. I made a lot of genuine friends on Lj and I'd love to make more here. Mostly on Lj I had other Mummy friends, although that in no way is a requirement. That would be silly, because just because someone has kids, it doesn't mean you immediately have something in common!
ANYTHING ELSE?: I love anything creepy, murder mysteries, ghosts, monsters, conspiracies, anything like that. I try to read, but I have a 5 year old, a husband and a job, so usually I get in bed with a book then fall asleep! I do NaNoWriMo every year and I love it, I totally lost 2012 though, so boo. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and have been since I was 12 years old, but I guess you'd guess that from my cats names. Um... I'm sure I must do other stuff. I guess LiveJournal was a hobby of mine until recently, but like a lot of Ljers I'm just growing away from it, so I hope Dreamwidth can be my new internet home.
