AGE: 24

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I enjoy writing original fiction (usually fantasy), teaching, and volunteering. I occasionally draw, or at least pretend I have artistic skills. I also love to read.

LOOKING FOR: I've been on DW for a while now, but most of my friends are still on LJ for some reason. I'd like to find people here who are active and won't disappear or delete their journal right after I add them. I like open minded individuals and other writers are a bonus but not necessary. I'm looking for more than just people interested in fandom though because I don't really follow/post about it that much.

ANYTHING ELSE?: My journal consists mostly about my adventures in writing and my life. I have filters though for everything so you can opt out of stuff that isn't interesting to you. And if you find out that we don't click at any time, feel free to stop following. There'll be no hard feelings. Just let me know.

RANDOM SHOWS I WATCH: Once Upon a Time, Elementary, Avatar the Last Airbender, Avatar: Legend of Korra, Grey's Anatomy, Revolution, The Good Wife, The Big Bang Theory. I used to watch Merlin, but I haven't seen the most recent season at all yet. I don't tend to discuss these shows in my posts because I don't think of that, but we can always talk about them.

DISNEY. I am a huge Disney fan. Yes it deserves it's own subheading. My favorite is the Lion King. My most recent favorite is Wreck It Ralph. I'm planning on watching every animated Disney movie I can get my hands on in 2013 and review it so be warned, LOL.

BOOKS: A Song of Fire and Ice, Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss, Harry Potter, Earthsea series/Ursula K LeGuinn, Green Rider series by Kristin Britain. I love recommendations too!

I don't talk about it much if at all in the journal itself. Will that bother you? I mean, I'll discuss it in comments and stuff, I just don't know if it'll ever make it to an entry by itself if that's what you're looking for.

I don't really mention fandoms in my journal, so long as that's okay with you, I'm cool with it. :) I of course don't mind talking about them in comments or anything, I just never usually have things to say about the shows themselves when I post, LOL.

Hey, that's perfect fine with me. Posting about fandom isn't a big requirement of mind when adding peeps.

I write primarily romance stories, short or long. I dabble in just about any genre when the mood strikes me. I used to write some poetry, but I haven't done so in a long time.

I volunteer at schools and I used to volunteer teaching ESL, but I haven't had time. I want to volunteer in other locations, such as shelters, but I haven't found anywhere else. Do you volunteer?

I do, I volunteer at the Ga Aquarium, and I used to volunteer at a school for kids with severe neurological problems - though my work prevents that now :( Hopefully I can again in the summer. :)

It sounds like we have some common interests. I'm a writer and have been on DW and LJ a long time; I usually post at least once a day. I do speculative fiction and poetry along with other stuff like gender studies and environmental issues. I loved Wreck It Ralph in particular!
