Age: College-aged
I mostly post about: My posts will mostly be my fanfiction, updates about my life or classes, and disorganized meta and mini-essays. I like to talk about environmental science, including environmental history (and the history of colonialism as an integral part of that). I also like to talk about disability and the rights and treatment of disabled people.
My hobbies are: Messing around with old hardware and open-source software, writing fanfiction, hiking, playing video games, playing/running TTRPGs.
My fandoms are: Bloodborne and Revolutionary Girl Utena are the main ones right now. I also have more than a passing interest in Deltarune, Wicked (book and musical, we'll see about the movie when it comes out), Hollow Knight, Princess Tutu, the Portal series, and the Eberron TTRPG campaign setting.
I'm looking to meet people who: Pretty much anyone! Especially if they're interested in conversation and/or can provide a new and interesting perspective on the world.
My posting schedule tends to be: Sporadic, and highly dependent on what's going on in my school life.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Anti-queer (aphobic, transphobic including transmeds, etc). My boundaries/squicks for both fiction and topics of discussion in general tend to be a bit too esoteric and specific to list here, so I'm just going to note that I have them and might decide not to interact with someone for no easily discernible reason, don't take it personally if that happens. Also, anyone who currently and frequently posts about Harry Potter. I am transgender, and reminders of J.K. Rowling's existence stress me out if they're frequent enough. A backlog of HP fics or the occasional post isn't a dealbreaker, but being a current and active member of the fandom is. This is just for my own personal comfort, and isn't a moral judgement on anyone.
Before adding me, you should know: I'm currently in college studying environmental science and computer science. I am asexual and my feelings on sexual content in fiction range from "disinterest" to "concerned only with the character dynamics at play"... so I'm unlikely to engage with NSFW fic under most circumstances. I try my best to give any relevant content warnings in my posts, but I am fallible. I am autistic, and might therefore have trouble understanding others, so please be patient with me if I misinterpret something you say or have to ask clarifying questions. Also, I don't view subscription as anything significant. I won't be upset or chase anyone down for unsubscribing, and I expect the same courtesy in return. I only grant access to those I know IRL, but most of my posts are public.
