I mostly post about: Recently, my personal life. My recent dating life is Eventful and there will probably be lots more posts about dating, kink, sex, etc.. I kept trying to write introspective posts about sex/kink on my fetlife and nobody there cared so I decided to start posting more often here again, lol. I do put explicit content under a tag with general content notes at least. Other topics likely to come up: medical issues (recently there's particularly been a lot about testosterone-induced menopause complications, and I also have EDS and various physical disabilities), my family, grief from a sibling who died, my dog, developing my fashion style/thrifting, maybe books I have read, etc.. I used to be much more actively fannish, but these days I don't expect to be posting a lot of fannish stuff here.
But are there fandoms? My biggest fandom interest recently is probably the game show Taskmaster. I also am into fanvidding and participated in Festivids and Vidukon the past few years after a long hiatus from vidding. I've been on a several year hiatus from interacting much with fanfic/fanart in any way. I watch some TV shows and read some books that HAVE fandoms, and I do talk about them sometimes with friends, but Taskmaster is definitely the one I feel most "fannish" about, and nothing else in recent years has inspired me to the same level of engagement with others about it.
Some other hobbies/interests: Enjoy some Nintendo Switch games & indies. Was trying to learn to sew and want to get back into that more. Joined a queer billiards league this past year. Very recently I've become interested in exploring my own sense of atheist spirituality, and that's probably gonna come up in more future posts. I've been reading a couple of interesting books about various religions/the occult/etc. so far. I have a retired racing greyhound and he takes up a lot of my time lol. I really love board games although I don't currently have an active group I play with. I'm moderately active in my local kink scene.
I'm looking to meet people who: More interested in folks who also post mainly about their personal lives more than fandom-specific stuff atm. Though I also really enjoy rec/review posts for books, podcasts, movies, etc.. Mainly I would like to get to know and form new relationships with people in hopes of finding folks I vibe well with, and/or who are interesting. I like trying to communicate stories from my life and share in the different lives/experiences of others. I'm fine with friends who don't agree with me on everything, although I probably won't get along with folks who hold culturally conservative views.
My posting schedule tends to be: Recently, maybe around 1-2 times per week, but there might be times it is more or less frequent. I've been aiming to post on here more often than I have in the past couple of years. It's probably unlikely I'd post more than one time a day.
Before adding me, you should know: I frequently employ intentional typing quirks such as inserting numbers into words, like gr8, 2gether, etc.. There will also be lots of lowercase as well as occasional capslock and frequent use of emojis. In fiction, I enjoy tropes such as noncon/incest/etc, and in my kink play I enjoy certain edge play kinks including consensual nonconsent play. Any detailed discussion of those things would be under a cut and noted for content. But if you don't want to interact with people who like those things at all, you should not add me.
Other sites: For the past while twitter has been my main social hub and I am still clinging to that sinking ship until it goes down entirely (probably soon ðŸ˜), at which point I'll try to see if any of the other microblogging platforms stick for me. So far none really have. But in any case, if I add you back here you're also welcome to follow my twitter of the same username if you want, though it's not necessary. I post a lot of pictures/videos/random thoughts from my day on there.
Also, if we do add each other, a good post to start with if you're interested may be this recent photo post (friends-locked), which summarizes a lot of stuff from the past few years of my life. Excited to meet/add new folks! :D
