I mostly post about: My daily life, musings about people & relationships, navel-gazing, fandom
My hobbies are: * books/reading
* writing - fanfic and original (still trying to get myself started on my first novel)
* theatre (never ask me about 18th/19th century German theatre if you value your time ;)
* music (esp. classical music, and all kinds of Metal, EBM, Dark Wave, Goth, Industrial)
* dancing to abovementioned music at Goth clubs
* crafts (I crochet, I am learning how to knit, and I still want to learn more than basic sewing)
* drawing/painting (I hope; I've woefully neglected it for the last 20 years . . .)
* baking (but who is going to eat it all?)
* my plants
* decorating and creating my own colourful vintage hippie jungle in a 2-room flat
My fandoms are: Too many, but the main ones are Tolkien, A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, Earth's Children, Star Trek, The Terror, Harry Potter (minus JKR's hatefulness). I've also known to be dabbling in Pirates of the Caribbean, I'm a Karl May nerd (and need to write fic!), I adore Stephen King, and there's some shows/books that apparently have no/microfandoms, like Abercrombie's The First Law, and Rebecca Gablé's Waringham saga, for example.
I'm looking to meet people who: ...vibe with me. Some common interests are nice, too, but not an absolute must :) If we have interesting things to say to each other, I'm game!
My posting schedule tends to be: I used to post daily, but right now, it's around 1-3 times a week.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Being a right-winger or tankie, queerphobia, religious fundamentalism, classism, ableism
Before adding me, you should know: I'm neurodivergent (autistic, possibly ADD), I'm queer, and I'm doing my PhD in German literature. I'm the mother of an adult son (19) who's amazeballs, I've got a girlfriend who's just as amazeballs and has a great husband (poly here!), and . . . you'll find out more eventually.
