New user looking start fresh

Hey add me - I just signed up for Dreamwidth and am looking for some friends to add to my reading list and interact with. I was big in Live Journal in the early 2000's and for some reason, something drew me back here to want to try again with the online journal space after 10-15 years of being away. I'm in my 40's...and find it slightly amusing that the style of my teen years in the 90's seems to be coming back around in the youth. I have a pretty quiet life and work from home. I enjoy nature, photography and house plants. The Beatles Get Back and the Witcher season 1 are my favorite recent streaming viewings. In general I love horror, comedy and sci-fi. Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Monty Python are some of my all-time favorites. I'm massively introverted and frankly think I may be somewhere on the autism spectrum. I love cats and have 2. Recently I've been very interested in witchcraft and that may be a path I go down and blog about. I'm also someone who's always been very childfree yet ended up moving in with my boyfriend who has children. That has thrown my mind for quite a loop and likely will be something I talk about as well. I like Reddit and Instagram but draw the line at Snap Chat and Tik Tok. I have mixed feeling about social media in general. If I have to label it then politically I'm left of center but I don't like to discuss politics for the most part. I'm really open to adding anyone as a friend, you never know who you will make a connection with.
