Hi there. :D
My name is Snake, i'm yet another long time LJ user who is looking to explore other options.
I'm 22 years old and live in Florida, which I hate. I'm originally from Connecticut. I currently live with my boyfriend/D-type (for those of you in the BDSM world..no? Thats just me? K..) named Solace. I'll probably mention him a bit. We also have a female roommate and two cats, one of which is hers.

I work a shit-ton. I have a "real" full time job (although less FT in the winter..yay for lots of writing time!), and a secondary job in the sex industry. A completely legal job, but I should warn you that there may be adult content in my journal if I ever bitch about that job. In my off time, lately i've been spending a ton of time on Neopets, occasionally playing Aion, watching Doctor Who and Red Dwarf, reading about Paganism and Wicca, hoarding vegan recipes (i'm not converted yet, just extremely curious!), searching the internet for Metal Gear Solid news, knitting and running an Etsy shop, drooling over Gundam kits, playing 3DS, et cetera.

Music is extremely important to me. I listen to mostly industrial, EBM, aggrotech, futurepop, with a bit of trip hop, viskei, and neowhatever shit thrown in. Feel free to spy my Last.FM on my profile, lately i've been listening to Tipper, Dargaard, Android Lust, Angelspit, Grendel, Nachtmahr, Uberbyte, Moi dix Mois, Tactical Sekt, and tons more. If any of those are more than just random letters to you, we should probably be friends. (But its okay if those are all jibber jabber to you, too!)

As far as who i'd like to add - I'm not picky. I'm not a fandom person, but I don't mind if you are. I write about my life, but its okay if you don't. I'm an extremely open minded person and i'd expect the same from you. I consider myself a beacon of positivity, I will always try to cheer you up. I don't judge, and I hope you wouldn't either. <3

I've heard of a couple of those bands, although I don't know if I've actually heard their music. I usually have no idea what they're playing at the goth club I go to, just whether I can dance to it or not heh. Anyway you seem cool, I'd like to add you.

Metal Gear Solid is great. My favourite is Snake Eater.

=] Snake Eater was actually my first. Really, it was the first game I had ever completed on my own. The fact that I stuck with it long enough to beat it was a testament to how much I loved the story. Then I went back and played MGS1, 2, and 4. MGS4 is currently my favorite. I cried like a baby! xD

I have a PS2, therefore have never played #4. I'd love to, though.

Ah, man. If and when you get the opportunity to do so, you will not regret it. I pretty much bought a PS3 solely for the purpose of playing 4. You can tell Kojima really gives a shit about his fans. Its everything a fan could have wished for, it ties all loose ends, its beautiful and mindblowing and depressing all at once.

So many feels for a video game, haha.

He came up with great games, but I can tell that he fancies himself as The Great Film Director. The theme music to MGS3 is sub-James Bond tripe, there is too much gratuitous cleavage and it's really annoying that the credits, and the conversation with the CIA director, go on for ten sodding minutes before you can save the whole game. I personally don't care who drew the backgrounds or did the voices. Still, that's pretty standard for video games, I suppose. I prefer the option of watching the credits only if I choose to.
