NAME: Maria. Or bitterlee. Whichever you feel comfortable with.
AGE: 40
INTERESTS & HOBBIES: I'm pretty much interested in all the good things: The Arts, good music, my kids, my daily life, my faith and my family/friends. I have a more detailed list that's public in my DW journal. Feel free to look there.
LOOKING FOR: New people, old people, friendly people, interesting people, kind people, open-minded people, non-judgmental people, creative people, independent people, etc..
ANYTHING ELSE?: Like a lot of other people, I'm an LJ Refugee. While I absolutely disagree with any sort of ToS that excludes LGBTQ humans, I have been on that website for almost 16 years. I plan on importing ASAP, but I don't think I'll stop posting over there until absolutely necessary. There's also the business of importing my late husband's journal to a safer place, here. It's still somewhat difficult for me to read his journal without struggling with grief, so that might take a minute. I do want to create and cultivate something close to what I used to have at LJ. I miss the friendships, the support and the interesting lives I was able to read about. I still have a lot of active friends, but everyone is preparing to jump ship pretty soon, and I don't blame them. I am open to following/reading/subscribing/whatever you call it here, anyone who is interested, as long as they realize that I reserve the right to write what I want to in my journal and don't require me to comment on every single entry. I don't require that from anyone, and while I realize it's necessary to interact with other journals, I am pretty low-maintenance when it comes to comments. Say what you want to say, as long as you're respectful and I will gladly return the favor.
