AGE: I turned 22 almost two months ago. It doesn't seem much different from 21, but I'm already dreading 30 and I wax nostalgic about my teen years aka three years ago :P
INTERESTS: Alright let's do this.
My main two interests are related and very intertwined for me. I've been reading longer, but writing has pulled me in and when I don't write, I feel as though I'm missing something. I talk a lot about my writing in my journal (Sometimes fanfiction, but mostly original fiction.)
I also read a lot and while I used to post my reviews to my journal, I have stopped this as of last month and they can be found elsewhere.
I adore manga and sometimes anime. I've recently rediscovered my love for the animanga Bleach and I'm excited about that. Other mangas I read are Kimi ni Todoke, Dengeki Daisy, Lovely Complex, Skip Beat, Butterflies, Flowers, and a few shonen. I'm more up to date with the shojo though.
I watch dramas as well, though I haven't really found one that made go "I must watch the next episode" like the Japanese version of Boys over Flowers. I absolutely love that drama and Matsumoto Jun is not bad to look at either. I'm thinking about getting a subscription to Crunchyroll so I can back into the groove.
In Western media, my latest obsession comes from the British Isles. I have fallen in love with the UK version of Skins. I'm on the second generation and while I'm really enjoying their stories, my heart belongs to Gen 1. We'll see how Gen 3 fares.
Other shows I watch are Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, The Good Wife, Covert Affairs, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, and others. I just got a Netflix subscription, so the list is still growing.
Movie wise, I'm more of a costume drama kind of girl. I love the Star Wars films (Obviously right?) and I'm excited and a bit scared by the latest news. I don't watch as many movies as I used to though.
I also like fashion and sewing and generally DIY though my interest tends to wane depending on my mood.
And I think that's all? Oh and I love history like you wouldn't believe especially the Tudor era and lately Regency England and the Roaring Twenties.
HOBBIES: Reading and writing mostly along with various DIY attempts haha
LOOKING FOR: Just nice people. I take my online friendships seriously. I don't expect a comment on everything, but just check in every once and awhile haha. I want to get to know you.
