AGE: 26 in two months (I like even numbers more :))

INTERESTS: I've always been fascinated by history (particularly WWII and medieval England) and languages. I speak two languages fluently - Russian and English, and I'm currently learning Spanish, Finnish, and German. Me encanta el español, y me gustaría practicar esta idioma :)

HOBBIES: I love reading, learning languages, hiking, biking, skating, and watching TV series (my favourite ones being Poirot, Babylon 5, White Collar, Due South, Lark Rise to Candleford, Star Trek TNG, Spooks, Law and Order, and, well, it's a long list :)).

LOOKING FOR: New friends! I've only just created this account (that's why there's only one entry there so far) so I could practice my English and get to know new wonderful people from all over the world.

ANYTHING ELSE: I'm currently working as a linguist and translator. I've always dreamed about getting a cat, but ended up with a lovely Yorkshire terrier. I live in St Petersburg, a beautiful city in Northwestern Russia. By the choice of love I am a Roman Catholic. I'm fond of coffee and chocolate. Star Wars Original Trilogy has influenced my life a great deal, and John Williams practically composed the soundtrack of my life. The Harry Potter books have played a significant role in my life, too. I used to be a Tolkien fan, but now I only love one of his books, namely, The Lord of the Rings, and always list it among my favourite books, along with Fahrenheit 451 and Gone with the Wind. My username means "the morning mist from heaven" in Hawaiian.

Movies you like: * Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Just Go With It, Practical Magic, Moulin Rouge (basically any Nicole Kidman/Sandra Bullock film.) I also love anything Jennifer Aniston is in. It's Complicated, Julie/Julia, Titanic, Finding Neverland, The Holiday,(love Kate Winslet), The Sound of Music, Gone with the Wind, any old movie really.

Books you like: Roses, Gone with the Wind, The Great Gatsby, Pride and Prejudice, I love to read.

My name is Carli, and I am looking for more journals that I can read and live vicariously through in a (PROBABLY) stalker-like manner. I really suck writing about myself and trying to come up with a way to be dazzling and ENSNARE PEOPLE SO BARE WITH/PITY ME.

I'm 26 years old and reside in Canada (Alberta). My journal is basically a (just started) daily log of what I am doing as well as I place to rant and rave until I get sleepy. I'm not really into any fandoms (sadly) and the only RP I do is drunkenly as a failed attempt to get some bedroom action dressed as a firefighter, so I am obviously not looking for journals that heavily fall under that category. Other than that, I'm not very picky and enjoy reading/getting to know pretty much everyone as long as their virtues are pure and true~ but because I am a terrible person who says terrible things, please be 18+

I'm not an intellectual, and I don't have any likes or hobbies that are obscure or cool. I laugh at stupid things, and I have the mentality of a 12 year old boy most of the time. Uhh... here is a picture to sweeten the deal I guess

I'm a little bad at commenting on entries, but I read everything on my reading page religiously. Please don't feel forced/compelled to comment on my entries either if you honestly don't want to! Hell, you don't even have to comment on here to say you're adding me. I'm not into publicized friend cuts either.
