LJ is driving me crazy and my reading list on DW is feeling lonely and sad

Hello, I'm Ginny (Ginevra, actually, but I don't like it), I'm 26 and I'm from Italy.

I hate this posts because I never know what to write to present myself, but let's try.

I love tv shows, I'm an addicted maybe, I download even more than I have time to watch weekly and always find something more to keep in my hard drive "just in case I've nothing to see one of these days".
I litterary grow up watching anything made by Joss Whedon and met some of the most important people of my life through these fandoms.
Right now I love Sanctuary, Camelot, Haven, White Collar, Nikita (the new one but I'll always love La Femme Nikita too), Criminal Minds, Fringe, Supernatural, Doctor Who and a lot more that don't come to my mind at this moment.

I'm into slash and especially into bandom (MCR, various FBR) in which I'm finally starting to write in english, but I read tv shows fic too. I'm gay, so I've a personal thing against homophobia or any kind of discrimination.

In my journal there are icons and graphics from various shows, random picspams and some ramblings about fandom or real life.

Hi my name is Tatyana (Taty) and I'm looking for more DW friends :-). I've been on DW since 2009-05-01 but I still don't have that many friends over here so that would be a lovely thing to change :-).

I have many interests like: Witchcraft, books, movies (huge movie buff), music (Depeche mode is my all time favourite musical band!!!), nature and water especially (I'm such a water child!).

I turned 33 years old in March and I'm quite comfortable in that age... even if I feel younger a lot of the time :-D.

Before you consider adding me you should know that I deal with anxiety issues which I am working with on a daily basis. So every now and then I talk about those struggles I have... but I don't think my entries are always about that :-)!

I'm also Bisexual and in a relationship with a woman so please NO HOMOPHOBES!

I'm looking for people over 20 who seems to share some of my interests... and I'm also looking for friends who comment! You most definitely DON'T have to comment on every single entry... but every now and then so I know you are actually reading and are interested in getting to know me :-)!

so... I've had this journal for a while now. and never posted in it. I've thought about posting here...but for whatever reason, I haven't.

early 30's; single mom to a 10 year old daughter
artist by training, office drone by paycheck
born & raised Kansas, but not real fond of the politics (or the public education policies).
livejournal refugee...I found this site through a good friend I met on LJ.

likes: dogs, art (duh!), nature/plants, crafting, my daughter, yoga, art (did I say that already?), exploring my faith, reading...this list could go on a while

dislikes: passive/aggressive, judgemental people who use platforms like LJ (or twitter or facebook) to snark on other people under the guise of "giving advice" or "offering opinions"...because to me this screams "I have no self-esteem, so to feel better about myself, I'm going to put you down".

I like to write and have been told I'm good at it...right now it's mostly casual observations of other people and the day to day crap of life.
I have a sarcastic sense of humor, so if that's not your thing, we probably won't get along.
I don't go out of my way to hurt people or start drama. I am very anti-drama and don't have time for people who never mentally left high school.

I'm pretty open about everything...if you ask me a question, I'll tell you the truth, whether it makes me look bad or not.

I'm looking for people who occasionally give input (as I do)...not on every single thing I type, but don't just lurk in the shadows, either. lurkers are creepy. and none of us really like creepy, right?

Hi,

My name is Robert, I'm 32 years old and live in the UK. I work full-time in an office.

In my free time I love watching movies of all kinds (probably my favourite type though are horror movies - I'm a member of a Horror Group).
I watch a lot of TV (particular favourites are Doctor Who, The Wire, Millennium, The Twilight Zone and Peep Show)
I read a lot (particularly Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman, William Gibson, John le Carre, JK Rowling, JRR Tolkein, Haruki Murakami, Edgar Allan Poe, Sylvia Plath, George Pelecanos and John Ajvide Lindqvist. I also like biographies and film books)
I collect comic-books (favourites are Batman, Hellblazer, Spawn, Fables, DMZ, American Vampire, Scalped, The Sandman and the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels).
I don't follow music much, but I do like it, especially rock, country and western, Frank Sinatra.
I also write poetry, stories and movie and book reviews.

I'm a friendly guy, who is easy enough to get along with. I don't comment on every entry but I always read everything. I'm just looking for some cool people to be great friends with. I've been on Dreamwidth for a few months now and have met some really great people already.

Most of my entries are just about my daily life and so on, and there's not much particularly controversial in the journal, which is currently set to "Friends Only".
