Looking for new friends!

burning_brightAre there any 30-somethings out there? I'm 37 and I'm looking for new DW friends. Friends around the same age as mine would be nice but that's not strictly necessary. I have a LJ account, I would like to move to DW permanently at some point, but I still have very few friends here and it's quite lonely.
I live in Italy, I've studied Japanese at university, I love languages, cats (I have one), photography (you'll see quite a lot of it in my journal), travelling (never enough of that, unfortunately). I am not into fandoms of any kinds. Well, you can see more on my profile. :-)
I go through phases when I post a lot, and phases when I am quiet, but while I don't always comment, I do read my friends' pages regularly.
