 Seriously I totally stressed about my choice of icon for about 20 minutes. But mostly because I am updating and adding to my current icon list. So yeah I do have an account on LJ but I am not a refuge my journal there is mostly for communities and I am looking for friends that arent all about my communities.

I am a 28 year old female. Who loves history, books, music and tv. Yes lots of tv. I am looking for ppl to fill out my flist. So if you are intrested let me know. I comment more then I post but I only comment when I think I have something to say which is often but not always an everyday thing.

Let's see. I'm Karen, 26, currently studying veterinary technology. Graphic designer. Painter. Animal lover. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina.

My interests vary a whole lot. And I have a lot of them. So I won't take up too much room writing about them.
I love movies. I have a lot of them. I love video games and board games. I'm trying to get back into writing (hence this journal), and I am trying to make time for it as much as I can. I love books and I collect them. I just can't seem to throw them away, especially when they hold a special place in my heart! I have three dogs, who take up a lot of my time, and I occasionally rant about animal conditions in shelters (just a warning, I don't hold much back when it comes to that). I do crafts, and I love to take photos. I post them as well. I am fascinated by Japanese culture. Truthfully, I'm fascinated by many different cultures. I often go on tangents. A lot.

I am somewhat of an immigrant from LJ, but I still keep my journal there active, sort of.

Sometimes I write somewhat allegorical entries, mostly because of my moods. I have some issues with anxiety, but I manage to overcome them. I'm shy, quiet, thoughtful, but I like to learn about people and see into other people's lives.

I don't have many entries yet, but I'm working on that!
