new journal, new friends. would be nice.

mighty_clawhey. i'm not so much an lj refugee, i just like making new journals on different sites every now and then. gives me something to fiddle with for a while.
i'm evelyn, which no one ever calls me so you don't have to either. call me ev, or the ev if you'd prefer. i'm a female australian who's 24.
i have a boyfriend who's 26. his name is david. he's mentioned frequently because i have not much of a life and he's a relatively big part of it. he's social and friendly and a mechanic. he's also about to embark on a three month trek of europe which i'm sure will drive me to alcoholism.
i have a puppy named slinky. he's a black male labrador and very smart. he's just turned 11 weeks. i disapprove of his growing up. he should remain small and cute forever. except maybe grow out of the whole teething thing. needle teeth fucking hurt.
i swear a lot, so you either need to deal with that or not read me.
i live with my parents, who are awesome. i have two brothers. one is pretty cool, the other is a bit of a douche bag. loveable, but you want to punch him in the face. the younger, cooler one, is a bit of a larrikin. for those of you that don't speak aussie slang that means "a mischevious youth". there, you learned something.
i work at a bottle shop chain as a wine assistant. while i hate the general public and think most people are morons unless they prove otherwise, i enjoy my job. it's nice to help people out and the people i work with are pretty awesome.
i don't write constantly. in fact i can go weeks without writing. because i forget/am lazy/not interesting. i do go online every day though so if someone i read has updated i usually read and comment if i feel i have something worth saying.
i'm pretty open to reading anyone, unless i feel we have absolutely nothing in common, or you have a way of writing that really bugs me.
that's pretty much it. if you like the sound of that then you can subscribe or whatever it is that's done here. i'm off to tweak shit and explore.
