wistful_smileThis journal is new, but I am not new to the world of journaling by any means. My name is Ardena ("Ardi" if you prefer) and I am 19-years-old. Currently a college student, my life is largely consumed by school. In case you're interested, I am a sophomore and a Criminal Justice major, for now.
My personality is complex, but my default mood is pretty cheerful. I'm generally bouncy, smilie, and affectionate. I can sometimes be very strictly logical which makes some people think that I am cold or that I have no sense of compassion, or worse, no creativity. I like facts. I hate being wrong, but prove me so and I will readily accept it.
I am somewhat easy to annoy, but very difficult to actually anger. I don't hold grudges and I see no point in revenge.
I have a violent sense of humor and a strong sarcastic streak. I like puns and slap stick comedy. I like horribly inappropriate, politically incorrect jokes. Unfortunately, they're very funny. I sometimes think offending people is funny. Truly offending me or shocking me is really close to impossible.
My journal is likely to contain things about school and work (I work as a receptionist), Hapkido (a Korean martial art), shooting (tactical and USPSA competition shooting), political issues, chattering about friends and family, thoughts on society, playlists, memes, book reviews, introspection (as I have a strange preoccupation with knowing myself), and perhaps some pictures here and there.
I like Pokemon and horror movies. I like guns and sundresses and fluffy towels. I like cinnamon candy and lemon cake. I like Chemistry and soldering and playing Candyland. I like mud and sweaters with pockets and Ticonderoga brand pencils. I don't like eggnog or licorice or orange juice and I don't like movies with Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller. I don't know why, I just don't.
