stormy here. I just realized that even though I joined Dreamwidth on the first day of beta, I've never posted to this community. I've got an unhealthy love for children's novels, antique keys, pocket watches, console games, kettle cooked chips, tootsie rolls, and the glory of bacon. I'm addicted to music, and I wake up with it in my head. I have a selective memory for inconsequential information, and I can't ever seem to remember the restaurants I've eaten at. I'm painfully shy, and highly opinionated, long winded, and generally silent. I'm in my mid twenties, and a recovering pessimist and cosplayer, but I've got the brain of a thirteen and forty year old. I'm a fan of ridiculous hair colors. I'm not huge into fandom anymore, but I used to be, and I spend my days quietly avoiding the drama and politics attached to it, preferring rather to covet my latest obsessions in hermit-like secrecy. I'm a former convention helper and cosplay judge and fandom community moderator. Yes, I still roleplay! I'm engaged, so you'll probably find my other half lurking around my journal at all times. Good luck beating her to first comment dibs, she's sitting five feet from me. I'll be posting a variety of entries, so feel free to subscribe without asking. If I'm subscribed to you, I read your entries, if I'm not - clearly, I don't. No hard feelings either way. My access list isn't a big thing, I just have to make sure you're not a raving lunatic first.
