Hello! My name is Alyssa. I'm 20 years old and I live in Illinois. I should be going to college or at least have some source of income, but I'm not / don't. Instead I spend most my time painting, drawing, taking pictures, writing, knitting, playing video games and trying to be creative. I have a lot of hobbies, all of which I love dearly, but because I cannot commit to just one or even a couple of these things, I'm not very good at any of them. It's an annoying problem to have.

Anyway, I thought my journal was mainly going to be for posting Sims 2 content, but now my computer with all of that on it is kind of dead, so I just started posting about whatever I wanted and realized that I enjoyed doing so. So now it's filling up with completely random entries that are of no use to anyone but myself, but that's okay. I'm not really looking for people to read my journal, just people to talk to I guess. My entries are public, so you can see for yourself what they're like. Probably not something you'd really want to spend much time reading, haha. I'm awkward by default (even on the internet), but trying to get over it because I would really like to make some good internet friends.

So, to kind of sum it up: I'm basically a socially-awkward hermit who stumbles around in a garage, painting and writing all day, instead of figuring out what it is I should do with the rest of my life. Oh and I really don't have any friends. I had a lot in high school, but they all seemed to go kind of crazy towards the end there, and now I'm only left with two of them. One is my boyfriend of almost three years and the other is a couple of years younger than us and is still involved in all of the small-town drama here, which I just don't want any part of. So yeah, things aren't looking good with that, and I would just really like to have more people to talk to.

I guess that's about it. I like getting to know all sorts of people (even if I'm not very good at it) so don't think you need to be a certain age or anything to add me. Hope to hear from a few of you!
