Anywhere. Anyone.
I am a long time Livejournal user (started in 2000). I had created a Dreamwidth account the last time there was an end of the world scare over there just to backup, but I've decided to now crosspost and live in both universes. I'm actually pretty sick of the fact that Livejournal is all Russian now, and I'm curious to see if Dreamwidth is any more active and has better communities? Anyhow it's seems very easy to have both worlds so here I am.
Notes on me:
- I post a literal fuckton of photos, some are 1000px wide and I only put multiples behind a cut, so if you are bandwidth deprived you might not be into me
- liberal (not hippie level liberal, but pretty open minded to most things)
- non-religious
- honest, emotional
- fairly geekish... I like 80s action movies and things from my childhood
- love to talk camera gear and gadgets, often post about my latest acquisitions
- usually get along better with girls or gay men, but if you're not an overly macho hetero guy we can give it a shot
- living in San Diego where I am originally from, I've also lived in Chicago, Raleigh, Seattle, and Portland
What I am really not looking for:
- People who are suffering from severe depression, are suicidal, are into self harm etc. I actually have a few already on my friends list and while I'm not going to abandon them I don't really enjoy reading those sort of entries. You don't have to be happy every second, but I'm trying to read more positivity.
Things that I'm not down with:
- racists, homophobes, that sort of thing... although I've yet to run across it I'll throw it out there
- people who post incessantly about babies or dogs
- adult babytalk (if your entries are like reading Twitter posts)
- complete secrecy... i.e. I'd like to know your name, maybe what you look like, what you're all about, if the idea of getting to know someone online creeps you out and your journal is just a codename and an alterego than no
- lurkers, I have had a ton of them... I don't need a comment everyday but I'm looking for more interaction
- people that are super down (I'm not always the happiest guy on the block, but people who talk about killing themselves or are all sorts of miserable just bring me down)

You seem cool, if you'd like to give it a go. I'm not too active at the mo, but I'm trying to change that (to post at least on a weekly basis, and catch up, etc.).
80s geek - ah, I was a kid in the 80s - while there's a lot about the 80s I don't like, it was THE best decade for toys (puffy stickers FTW!)
Love nature & cemetery photography (though I haven't done it in awhile).

I'm not much with camera gear but I do take part in a lot of photoshoots that my photography friends do.
I post a lot of photos as well. But usually from photoshoot fun, my cosplays, and crap that I make.
I'm so adding you since finally someone really struck my interests on here. XD
