I haven't done this in a while, so.

Age: 29
Location: At the moment, central Georgia, US. That's going to change soon, however.
Gender: I have girly bits. c:
Occupation: I worked for five years with cars and car repair. Now I'm a housewife, lol.
Pets: An American rabbit named Guinness, who is Queen FatFat III, and an Aussie Shepherd named Butch, who wears little boy's tshirts.
INTERESTS
Television: I really don't watch a lot of tv, so I'm pretty out of touch with what's going on. I do enjoy Supernatural, though I've heard some not-good things about the newest season (I haven't watched any of it yet.).
Books: The Wheel of Time series, Harry Potter, the Dark Tower series, Star Wars expanded universe novels, Lord Of The Rings/Middle Earth, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, H.P. Lovecraft/Cthulhu Mythos, High and Low Fantasy in general, Science Fiction in general, Medieval-era poems and prose.
Movies: Lol, I don't really watch a lot of movies, either, but. Zombie films. All the zombie films. Really bad 80s horror and slasher flicks. Star Wars. Up. Despicable Me. Silent Hill. The Harry Potter movies. The Lord Of The Rings movies.
Games: Skyrim. Devil May Cry (but oh God, what are they doing with the new one). Silent Hill. Sims 2. Pokemon. Final Fantasy. Kingdom Hearts. Diablo II & III. There are more, but those are the main ones.
Hobbies: Now this is where the bulk of my free time goes. I knit. I crochet. I sew handbound notebooks. I sew in general. I write almost constantly. I paint. I do art journals because it's fun. I go ghosthunting. I do a lot of research on the paranormal and run the community for it here. I like to bake like there's no tomorrow. I collect kitchen and housewear from the late 60s and 70s. I love rockabilly clothes. I have an obsession with muscle cars from the late 60s to 70s.
JOURNAL
It's mostly about day-to-day life, though I touch on other things, too, like fandom, Nanowrimo, my hobbies, that sort of thing. Right now it's full of crap about Nano and getting ready to move, since Boy is about to rejoin the Army. All in all, pretty standard stuff. No triggers I can think of? Like I said, just day-to-day life, but I'm a believer in lj cuts, and I tend to put what's under the cut in the cut tag text.

But they're fun! I've gotten and sent some cool stuff in them. Last swap I got the pretties yarn in superwash wool, that has amazingly softness and stitch definition, and it came from a dollar store. It was awesome.

I did almost 5k the first day, and have been steadily trucking along since. Hoping to hit 25k by Tuesday.

I was army, my husband navy... it's like a mixed religion household (which we also are lol) the army navy game comes on and there's all out war here.
I did 5k yesterday and today each. Hopefully I can get in the minimum every day after work and then jump ahead on weekends. Or something.

Apparently LJ's becoming tumblr-lite. The new friends page, taking away paid account next spring, and then jerking away the ability to put titles in comments (screwed over a lot of rpers that can't play because of how the games work) just broke the camel's back, I think. This time next year, I don't think LJ will be any more. I'm glad I jumped ship ages ago.
