Hellooo!

My name is Sarah. 27 years old. I'm a convert from over at LJ. Imported my entries into DW and haven't looked back since.

I was born and raised in NY and moved to Beirut, Lebanon in 2009.
I update regularly.
I don't write any fan fiction
I prefer to read about your personal life as opposed to fan fiction, or reviews about your favorite movie/book/celebrity

I will read every one of your posts but I may not comment as often as you may like. I only comment if I have something to say that isn't superficial and I'm not looking for you guys to comment on every post either. Actually, it's just nice to know that I'll have an ear, or rather an eye to rant to when something's on my mind. It gets pretty lonely writing with no audience.

I'm married with a 20 month old girl but I don't write about her often. I prefer to keep my journal about my thoughts and feelings but I will mention her in passing.

Last week, a top government official was assassinated by car bomb about 3 miles away from me and I think that's what I wrote about in my last entry. So there's some action out here if you're interested in what life is like for an American in the Middle East but most other times, I just write about my day to day life which would include rants and other private matters.

If you think we'd get along, by all means, add me. We could become friends :) I don't discriminate and I'm not sensitive to any topics that might be "taboo". Actually, it's all the more interesting.

I'd love to add you! I moved from Germany to Jordan this year, so hello neighbor :D
But I only write in German, so I'm not going to be disappointed if you don't add me back or don't grant me access.

Because I like my native language and I'm a little tired of the lack of German content for the sake of reaching more people.
But I'm also tired of missing out on getting to know potentially cool people. What if I had English posts, but only pictures, little one-liners, etc. instead of in-depth stuff? Would you still be interested?
