However, I was deeply disturbed by Vladimir Nabokov's work when I read it 6 years ago. D:
I do not come from England myself, but I had dated an Angle for the longest time in my more formative years.
Most people now label my accent as Russian, although when I had started studying that tongue, my Russian teacher labelled my accent as very British. (Most likely from interaction with my boyfriend...)
