Insert witticism.

I'm a 27 year old full-time writer specializing in thrillers and speculative fiction, and I'd love to find a few more Dreamwidth users to connect with. I'm not terribly interested in following fandom-oriented journals since that's just not my thing, but I'm always delighted to meet new people who post about the process of writing original fiction, or who are otherwise ignited by something in their lives.

My other passion is ufology; if my brain isn't mulling over my stories or reading, then I'm thinking about extraterrestrial intelligence, the abduction phenomenon and related issues. One of my tattoo sets is a tribute to the Roswell incident.

Writing consumes a vast majority of my time, but when my fingers aren't beating my keyboard to death, I'm probably reading, cooking, walking with my husband and dog, meditating, or watching something entertaining. You won't find me being the center of attention at a party or making plans with young professionals to grab a drink at happy hour. I'm the sort who's tucked comfortably in bed on a Friday night while reading or pounding away at the keyboard. If I spend hours of my time talking with someone, chances are it's because I love them and we're really close. Otherwise, I'm a deliberate loner.

Basically, I'm an INTP through and through.

I have friends and acquaintances who come from all walks of life and self-identify as: monogamous, polyamorous, married, single, gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, many different ethnicities, Christians, witches, atheists, Buddhists, Pagans, agnostic, differently abled, genderqueer, genderfree, transgender, cisgender, privileged, neuroatypical... the list goes on. Basically, I like people for who they are, not the roles they do or don't fill. Although I admit, I'm not terribly keen on people who get a thrill out of being unkind, so I guess I'm prejudiced there. I'm okay with that.

As far as subscription and access are concerned, as long as your journal has content I'd like to read, then I'll mutually subscribe. All writing related entries are public, whereas personal content is access-only.

Subscribing? Tell me about you!

Hi you and your journal sound interesting! Don't know that you'd be interested in my journal at the moment as there isn't much there (most of it is on my other blog - http://multigenrefan.com - but would it be alright if I subscribe to you anyway?
