Hello!
Hi there, my name is Katy, I'm a 30 year old graduate student in special education. I'm married, and in the process of buying a house. I plan to work with children with autism when I "grow up" and finally graduate. I'm in the SCA, and enjoy sword fighting (heavy), archery, weaving, and sewing. I also enjoy photography. I have a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days - I'm more than halfway done with it! It has led to me doing all sorts of cool things from snorkeling in the Georgia Aquarium, where I volunteer, to volunteering with children, to swimming with a dolphin, to learning to sew, weave, and cook. I have two small dogs and a cat. I guess to give you an idea what I talk about I'll tell you what my last few posts have been.
1. Views on religion - I'm converting to Judaism, and in this video I kind of explain where I came from and the immediate factors that led to this decision. This is a vlog entry. I talk about Judaism and converting. A lot.
2. In bullet form, stuff on buying a house, my dog, moving, medical problems and going to see a play.
3. Views on USAID in vlog format. I'm not usually political, but I'm doing a 30 day vlog meme which asked me to talk about politics, so I did. I am very liberal, some might even call me a socialist. Just fair warning.
4. Stuff about school.
5. My advice on relationships after 3 years of marriage. Vlog.
6. An introduction to myself in vlog format.
7. The comment that having nothing to do all day isn't as nice as I expected. :p
8. A video of a song that we sang at summer camp that I really liked.

(I'm also considering doing vlogging, not that I have much resources or that my life is all that fascinating, I just thought it was a nice alternative to blogging; I was inspired by the vloggers on Youtube. But I have a ton of social anxieties and so forth... So it'd be nice to learn from you.)
